Fem Movement Abroad

Imagine. For every 10 people in the workforce, maybe 2 are women.  Unimaginable, right?

In the US, absolutely! Women account for nearly 46% of the workforce & forecasted to represent more than half as we approach 2030.

Unfortunately, our Saudi sisters live in the reality where they make up less than ¼ of the workforce in their country.

In spite of these headwinds, the role of women in business & what Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hopes to be a post oil nation is sparking a revolutionary fem movement abroad.

With the first-ever business conference for women held in Saudi Arabia, Muslim women have a voice that has long been silenced. The Women in Leadership Economic Forum facilitated networking & business among men & women, a new practice now allowed.

With the driving ban for women coming to an end in June, we are optimistic to see what female Muslim trailblazers emerge from the Middle East!
